2015 Barb Gonnella Award recipient: Natalie Benoit, MLS(ASCP)^CM

Natalie is an example of an engaged employee and technologist.  She is a team player in her organization and actively sought out a training position in the laboratory for advanced experience in immunohematology.  She also developed and administered a customer satisfaction survey for Transfusion Medicine, and the data was used for Process Improvement in the laboratory.  She also investigated and validated the use of a commercial antibody ID product, Antigen Plus, for use in the laboratory.  This was for use in correct interpretation and standardization of interpretation for technologists.  Natalie is also involved in recruitment for the hospital laboratory and the field of Medical Technology.
